Position Summary

The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and tactical support of the People Ops department. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to manage various systems including TriNet, Greenhouse, and Notion. This role will shape and refine processes and systems within the company, working closely with senior management to build and enhance our People capabilities. Responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. This can include hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. 

 

Essential Functions  

      • Execute all HR administrative tasks with precision, including document management, processing employee status changes, and maintaining People Ops files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. 
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data within our HRIS (TriNet) and other systems. 
      • Assist in the recruitment process, helping to manage job postings and applicant tracking through Greenhouse. 
      • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company. This includes scheduling orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary hardware and software are provisioned. 
      • Handle the offboarding process for departing employees, which may include conducting exit interviews, revoking access to company resources, and providing information about benefits continuation. 
      • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring they follow legal standards and align with the company’s culture and objectives. Provide frontline support for EEs with ability to triage 
      • Keep abreast of relevant HR compliance issues and ensure that the company adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations. 
      • May take on additional responsibilities in employee relations, program management, and other HR areas as needed.

  • Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects.
  • Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone.
  • May require off-site travel; remote work and out-of-state travel

Minimum Qualifications  

    • 2 years HR or related experience. People-first, customer service mindset in all situations.  
    • Proficient technical/computer skills, experience in using HRIS (experience with TriNet preferred), applicant tracking systems (experience with Greenhouse a plus), and internal communication tools (experience with Notion preferred). 
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. 
    • Resourceful, tenacious, and capable of critical thinking and problem-solving. 
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
    • Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.

$92,000 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
