About the role

The Sales Manager at Unlock Technologies is pivotal in bridging the operational execution by the Home Equity Consultants with the strategic initiatives led by the Director of Sales and Facility Operations. This role is key in interpreting and cascading down strategic sales directives from the Director while mentoring and managing the workflow Home Equity Consultants to ensure they meet their sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. 

What you’ll do

  • Partner with the Director to formulate and implement sales strategies that advance organizational objectives and drive market leadership.
  • Convert overarching sales strategies into detailed, executable plans for Home Equity Consultants, ensuring these plans are aligned with Unlock Technologies’ strategic goals and market opportunities.
  • Manage the daily workflow of the sales team, prioritizing efficiency, and effectiveness in all sales processes to maximize productivity and results.
  • Oversee and enhance lead engagement processes to boost conversion rates and elevate customer satisfaction, employing data-driven techniques for continuous improvement.
  • Provide robust coaching and mentoring to sales personnel, equipping them with essential tools and insights for successful lead management and customer conversion.
  • Continuously assess team performance, deliver constructive feedback, and conduct comprehensive quality checks to uphold high performance standards and ensure accountability.
  • Maintain a dynamic collaboration with the Director to adapt sales strategies in response to team output and market feedback, ensuring strategic agility and responsiveness.
  • Lead efforts to synchronize activities across departments, ensuring a unified approach to customer engagement and retention, thereby enhancing overall customer experience.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment process to help select top-tier candidates, ensuring the team’s composition supports strategic and operational objectives. 

What we’re looking for

  • High School/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of leading sales teams.
  • Extensive experience in the home equity or financial services sectors preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic sales planning and execution preferred.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop sales teams preferred.
